Earlier this year, at the keynote speech of the HDC 2025 (Huawei Developer Conference 2025), Yu Chengdong, Huawei’s Executive Director and Chairman of the Terminal BG, announced the refresh of the HarmonyOS smart hardware ecosystem brand to “HarmonyOS Smart Selection,” with iHORN becoming one of its first batch of ecosystem partners.
This collaboration enables the iHORN Air Quality Detector to be deeply integrated into the HarmonyOS Connect ecosystem. Users can view real-time air quality data and receive abnormal alerts via the Smart Life App, and achieve scene-based integration with devices such as air purifiers, air conditioners, and fresh air systems, building a full-chain air management closed-loop of “perception—warning—improvement.”

Precise Monitoring
The iHORN Air Quality Detector focuses on four key indicators: formaldehyde, carbon dioxide, temperature, and humidity, ensuring data accuracy and stability with three core technologies.
The High-Precision Detection Chip, equipped with the Huawei HarmonyOS Smart Home Adaptive Algorithm, performs real-time compensation and fusion processing on each sensor signal, ensuring stable detection even in complex environments, with anti-interference capability improved by 17.9%*.
The self-developed 60-point precision calibration technology improves calibration points by over 2 times compared to the industry standard 18-point calibration. Calibration points are like the markings on a ruler—the more and denser the marks, the more precise the measurement results. Combined with the sensor’s self-learning and self-calibration functions, detection accuracy is improved by 66.5%*, ensuring the device becomes more accurate and reliable with use.
In terms of structural design, iHORN conducted 55 airflow and thermal dissipation simulation experiments to achieve better airflow and heat dissipation, resulting in an overall stability improvement of 58%*.

To enhance information readability, the product features a high-definition large screen with clear and intuitive display, supporting a 170° horizontal and 130°* vertical ultra-wide viewing angle, allowing users to easily read data from different angles. Furthermore, the 365-day data storage function clearly records detection data and trend changes, making the effectiveness of home air management visible.
As the first air quality detector adopting a radar human body sensing solution, it provides users with a humanized, non-intrusive interactive experience of “screen on when approached, screen off when leaving,” significantly improving the convenience of product use. The screen lights up and dims with presence, avoiding excessive light sources that distract attention, helping to create a relaxed and comfortable home atmosphere.
To intuitively indicate air quality changes, the product specially features a yellow/red dual-color light language system. A yellow light indicates exceeded standard pollution, and a red light indicates severely exceeded standard. During the day, reminders are given simultaneously via the screen and light language. At night, the device automatically enters sleep mode: the screen turns off, leaving only a soft light language prompt, balancing reliability and thoughtfulness.
